About me.

I am a fitness, nutrition, and longevity enthusiast with the hope that through sharing my personal journey, others will benefit from an increased health span and a more engaged and fulfilling life.

Happily married for over 25 years with three children, I started running at the age of 32 to stay in shape. I quickly discovered the cognitive as well as physical benefits of aerobic exercise. Now into my 50s, I have started to add regular strength training to my routine to improve my physique and to offset muscle loss that naturally occurs as we age.

From Chicago to Stockholm I have completed 7 marathons, 22 half marathons, and over 70 5K/10K races.

Weight Lost

From my college peak weight of 240 pounds, I lost 70 pounds through exercise and proper nutrition, and I have maintained a healthy weight for over 30 years.

I started running consistently at the age of 32 and have logged over 20,000 miles over 20+ years
